Purchase/Returns Policy

Vintage Purchase Policy

Items will be shipped within 1-5 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. I ship 2 or 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Some items may require extra mending or cleaning so it may take longer than others. I want you to be happy with your purchase so I do our best to steam/clean and make your pieces truly presentable. This may take some time and could cause slight delays, so please bear with me.

Please notify me if you need an item right away. I do my best to prioritize urgent packages first. As I am frequently away for buying trips, I may not get to your order right away. 

For domestic orders, items will be shipped Priority Mail/Parcel Post for packages 14 oz. and above and First Class for anything below 14 oz. Items usually take 2-8 days for arrival. There might be delays at certain post offices due to COVID protocols and shortages of workers.

For international orders, items will be shipped First Class within 1-6 days and will be upgraded Priority based on preference or if an item is over 4 lbs. We will send an invoice for additional delivery charge or refund for excessive overages. Items will take anywhere from 1-8 weeks depending on customs to arrive to your destination. We are not responsible for customs charge that some countries may charge. Once an item is dispatched, we no longer hold responsibility. We are not responsible for wrong addresses, stolen, or lost packages on uninsured items. Please ask for insurance if you want extra coverage on your item(s) to make sure your item is entirely insured and we are able to recoup any losses on your behalf. 

Expedited Orders

We can expedite delivery for international orders via Global Express (2-7 days), DHL (2-5 days), UPS Express (guaranteed 2-7) for an additional charge. 

Returns

Here at Gossamer, I pick previously owned but mostly great condition items. Most items are not perfect, but they come with character and history and may have some flaws. Please don’t expect items to be perfect as imperfections are normal with age. All sales are FINAL; there are no returns, only exchanges for store credit minus a 15% restocking fee for associated shipping, listing fee, and fuel costs. 

INTERNATIONAL orders are not eligible for exchanges. 

There are NO returns/exchanges on antique items 1940s or older, lingerie, and robes. 

Please notify me within 2 days of receipt whether or not you'd like to exchange. We do not honor exchanges if notified past 2 days. 

There are no refunds on RENTALS if you decide to cancel after 2 days of placing the order.

Any items sold at discount or ON SALE will be sold as-is with absolutely no exchanges and no exceptions.

All sales at in-person or virtual shows are final.
